I tried getting AI to create a few stories, and at some point it started giving contradictory information.
By exploring the lore of a specific character, sometimes we get conflicting information. One story said that one character met another during a disaster, while another they always were together during that same disaster.

I got rate limited by Chat GPT but I decided to ask Chat GPT to write a story about a high school student who one day woke up to find themself in the body of a woman. I am not going to give all the parameters and output, but I will share one of the paragraphs here.
It is an interesting thing to kind of think about. And yeah, I asked it to use gender-neutral pronouns since it would be confusing and paradoxical otherwise to hear “he is a woman” or “she is a man”. Chat GPT is a great exploration tool for “what if X happened” or “what if Y happened”. It is almost like dreaming.
I am probably not the first one to ask this question “what if all your biological characteristics just changed one day” but I probably will not be the last one to either. I can see how it can be alarming that you wake up one day and you go to speak but your voice sounds feminine as a man or masculine as a woman. It can also be alarming to see your body be anatomically different than what you might expect when you look in the mirror or look down in the shower.
I also like how I can give Chat GPT some lore and it will generate its own lore and try to make it all make sense. I think the tool is a great inspiration to base fiction off of. I hope to see more practical uses of Chat GPT as the model gets updated with data about more recent and historical events and as the model is able to generate more and more lore that makes sense.
I tested out ChatGPT’s knowledge of songs before 2021, as the AI doesn’t have info after 2021 (the lyrics)… it got some of the songs right, but it was wrong on these lyrics:
“My flow, my show brought me the dough”
It’s “In Da Club” by 50 Cent which was released in 2003, but it said the song was “Hypnotize” by The Notorious B.I.G, which was released in 1997.
“Give me a sign, hit me baby one more time”
This one’s from Britney Spears’s “…Baby One More Time”, but the AI said it was “Toxic”, another one of Spears’s songs (1/2 right I guess).
And this one… (kinda an embarrassing fail - it’s really by the Backstreet Boys but it’s “I Want It That Way”
