Oh great! I’ve received a fan mail! And when I opened it, it’s… totally BLANK!!! I have a bug, glitch or anything? BTW, who is Kudos? (He/She was the one sending me that).

Here’s the link: http://www.wikihow.com/User_kudos:MatthewMiles02127 Oh and I’ve checked the history. Nah, its only version is from an mysterious IP address. Seems like I am being trolled. Hehe.

When someone edits your fan mail, any edit, there will be a “You have a Fan Mail” message above. Same in Talk Pages. Next time check it before posting in forums. Thanks

And don’t panic too much

It might be because they didn’t type any message (?). Kudos means Cheers. it’s not a person, matt!

And the anon user is spamming.

@Shinako Oh? So now I know that:slight_smile: @Glam_GirlRock Thanks for your help and your bite. So hard but so sweet LOL

Umm I guess you disheard the tone of my message. Anyway, your welcome. I just left that anon user a message

Yeah. Thanks. BTW I think you mean “misheard”? If so, no I don’t.

Well then forget about it. At least now you know.

This has happened to me before. Tagging @Krystle and moving to Bug Reports. (; June Days

Well, this isn’t really a bug, just mischief:slight_smile:If someone clicks the “thank the authors” link at the bottom of an article and puts nothing but spaces in the box, and sends it, you will get an empty edit on your kudos page. Our system still detects it as an edit, though, so you’ll still get a notification. We could theoretically fix it so that you only get a notification when the kudos page actually had content added to it, but this is so uncommon that it’s probably not worth the engineer time when we’ve got more urgent bugs waiting to get fixed:slight_smile:I hope that makes sense!
