I can just dance when no one is watching. Contemporary freestyle… aha… ha.

I go to a school for young artists. We have the most dancers of any art. And if you ask any of the dancers like I have how they started, they started by themselves. In the back alley, the cold basement, their small rooms and they didn’t tell anybody because they were embarrassed. And then there’s visual and culinary artists like myself. We cook and draw when nobody’s home. There’s this romantic tale they tell us in art school about a philosopher who said that creativity comes purely because humans like to create and its just what we do, its in our nature. Me and a lot of other students got together and demanded this not be told to future students because its not the truth. Creativity is a necessity, not purely human nature. It is an imperative part of our survival. You dancing by yourself isn’t a trivial part of your life, its your expression. And just as creativity is most prominent in times of need, so is your dancing. You dance when you want a connection to yourself. Don’t feel like you need to make your dancing public. Just understand that you will get no input from those you don’t tell and it is the input that will help you improve and polish that creativity.

Yes, I teach myself. I don’t feel confident enough to do it in a club. My friend said I’m very good at freestyle. She goes to freestyle since she was young btw. (;
I dance, but only the formal stuff since I have to go to social functions like that all the time. First tiem I went to one, I tripped a girl, and then fell over her. Really awkward. Now, Lyra dances with me. (Heel command, but still, keeps the flirting girls away. Soemtimes.)
Ow. That must have been embarrassing…
^Geez. Must-of been awkward. I dance randomly…No moves, nothing, but for some reason my legs stretch easily in a ballet stance.
Yeah. It helps a lot, especially it you’ve been kneeling all day.
