So I have been working on this article today, I started writing it from scratch today, taking screenshots as i went along. Here is the finished product: http://www.wikihow.com/Build-a-Website-in-30-Minutes-with-Devhub
I tried to make this article as complete as i can from the start. adding pictures and following the writer’s guide as closely as i can.The only thing that this article needs is a step-by-step video but I am unable to make videos i was hoping to find some on youtube, but the website lacks any quality videos on the subject. Can you offer any tips to improve this article?
I think it’s pretty good and the screenshots are well done. I don’t think it needs any improvement.

What more would be needed for it to be featured?
Ecto, There is no specific answer to that…The article is good and if you think it must be featured, you can place a FAC tag on the discussion page or ask an admin to take a look at it and tell their opinion. You can also read this: http://www.wikihow.com/Write-a-Featured-Article-on-wikiHow
Hope that was helpful. You are doing a pretty good job!

any way to add an “inside scoop” to this article? Also, I will greatly appreciate if someone can gist through the article for grammatical and spelling errors. I read a single paragraph five times but failed to catch the simple error until the 6th try
I’m on my tablet, will edit the article tomorrow. It is very well written. Thanks for writing such a high quality article, @Ecto5
I have nominated it for Featuring.

Thanks for the feedback! The article should say that it has been nominated to be a fa right?
@Ecto5
- I really like it. It has weaved links, related wikiHows, step-by-step pictures (which is always helpful), is categorized, and has an intro image. The only feedback I have is to add a video; only if you can. On a lot of articles, it’s hard to add a video to get a specific method (like this one) - I think it’s really good either way. Kudos. I am thinking about making a video myself, I should be pretty easy . The only catch is that it will have no voice.

Great article, @Ecto5
. I think it has a good chance of getting featured
I just read through it, and it is very good! We are glad to have such a great writer on wikiHow! Thanks for the great contribution Ecto!!
As a web developer, you my man have done us (web developers ) a very bad favour. In the introduction section you have quoted “had always been a job left to the professionals, requiring expertise in HTML, CSS and JavaScript to make decent webpages” and you left PHP in the expertise section. PHP is what we use often so if a web developer reads the introduction, he/she may get pissed off

@Akash
Dahal I’m aware that PHP is the heart of every database driven website (because of the ease of connecting to multiple databases) but the perosn who views that article is someone who has no clue on how websites are made, and wants a quick and easy way to set up a website.I aimed to make the intro as uncomplicated as possible so I included HTML, CSS and JavaScript in the introduction because these are the bare minimum you need to learn in order to build a decent
interactive and stylish website.
ok … but as said if a web developer … anyways nice article
