Hola amigos! I realised that some of you know French. I do know French, but I know Spanish much better. It was nice to have a conversation in French, but what about Spanish? If nobody knows how to speak Spanish you are very welcome to use google translate, that way we’re all welcome. If nobody’s interested just comment below that your not interested, and if nobody’s interested then I guess an admin will have to close this thread…

Uso Duolingo aprender español. BTW I’m really bad at knowing if words have accent marks… I’d rather say it than write it. I’m all for having a Spanish-speaking thread, it’ll help me out a lot in learning the languge.

@CPenguin17 In Spanish, they use un-conjugated verbs. For example, I used ‘Uso’, which means ‘I use’. If I were to say ‘Usar’ that would mean ‘to use’. The translation of the sentence is ‘I use Duolingo to learn Spanish’. I could also say ‘Aprendo español con Duolingo’ or ‘Uso Duolingo para aprendizaje español’. Translations of these are ‘I learn Spanish with Duolingo’ and ’ I use Duolingo for learning Spanish’.

I hope that helped!!!

Me alegra que estés interesado. ¡El español es mi idioma favorito, justo después del francés, por supuesto!

Francés es difícil. No voy a France.

Jajaja Sí, por eso soy mejor en español que en francés. Me tomó mucho tiempo aprender francés, y hoy todavía no puedo hablar 100% francés.

Si, quiero aprender 100% de español en tres años. Necesito un poco de ayuda con mi español.

Buenas noches, hasta mañana!!!

Okay. ¡bien entrada la noche!

Hola, no hablo español, y lo siento por eso. Estoy usando un traductor ahora. Pero voy a tomar español en el próximo grado. (Hi there, I don’t speak Spanish, and sorry for that. I’m using a translator now. I’m going to take Spanish in the next grade, though.)

Oh, that’s ok. Good luck on that that class! Like I said, your welcome to use google translate

Spain Spanish or Mexican Spanish? There’s a difference, a big one! I know only Mexican spanish…

There are many different versions of Spanish, each one unique to the country or region. I can’t really tell the difference by looking at it, I don’t know much… my knowledge is limited. My dad is pretty good at Mexican Spanish though:slight_smile:

Even into the same country are many “versions” of spanish. Read some articles in “neutral Spanish” would help if u wanna learn.

Hola, hablo un poco de espanol. Sin embargo, tiendo a dejar de lado los acentos. Solo tengo un teclado en ingles en la computadora portatil que estoy usando.

Hola a todas/todos!!

I know Spanish, but I noticed this translation of “Hello everyone” is gender-specific, so I just put both translations. BTW… is there a gender-neutral phrase for LGBTQ people? I’m not LGBTQ but I support it so I’m just wondering.
