We had a Church play, and I had to be freaking Mary. They made me wear that huge belly, and when I came out, everyone was laughing, filming, and later I found it on facebook. I cried all night. I missed every cue, and the Joeseph woud’nt let me hold the baby, and carried it by the feet.
That sounds like their problem. I wouldn’t worry to much.They would feel the same way if they were Mary, and you should tell them that and next year tell them if they are going to make you be Mary, you are going to quit. Anyway, that is their problem.
