Hmm, I think most people are a mix of both. I’m also a mix of both, but as a kid, I was definitely a girly-girl.

As a kid…

  • My favorite color was red:heart:, but I also loved pink:heartpulse:and purple:purple_heart:.
  • I loved my long hair. I usually just wore it down without putting it into a ponytail/pigtails/a bun. I disliked short hair a lot. Once during summer break, my family took me to the hair salon and they chopped off half my hair! My hair went from long to the length of a bob, and I hated it.
  • I wore girly clothing. My mom definitely influenced me in that regard. My clothing always had some sort of girly thing on it, like a unicorn, cupcake, or cutesy fonts. I loved wearing my uniform jumper since it had a skirt. During fancy occasions, I loved to wear dresses.:dress:As a kid, I would get out random accessories (sunglasses, hair ties, bracelets) and make a little fashion show lmao.
  • I loved singing as a child! And dancing too, so I had dance classes for a few years. The only music I really knew was pop, so I sang to those songs. And I danced with the Just Dance catalogue of songs!:+1:
  • I hated PE and sports. I was the slowest runner in my class every year, and I was terrified of the ball smacking me. We had to exercise in our uniformssince we didn’t have school gym clothes back then. Sometimes, exercising in a jumper and leggings (or stiff trousers for boys) was really difficult!

Nowadays…

  • The girly side of me is definitely toned down. I got a lot of male influence throughout the COVID years, so I grew out of the “girly girl” phase.
  • My favorite color is still red:heart:, but I like blue as a second choice!:blue_heart:
  • I don’t usually want to wear dresses because they’re impractical. You can’t walk fast or do exercise with dresses! You’d have to change out of the dress during gym class. I usually wear exercise clothing or some nice jeans and a nice top.
  • I still enjoy singing and dancing to this day! I listen to pop and rock these days, so it’s a balanced mix of music!
  • I still dislike most sports except badminton and tennis. Those are ok.:badminton::tennis::ping_pong:

I am obsessed with shopping:shopping:
I love what people call “white girl” music:musical_note:
I love wearing and buying makeup:lipstick:

I don’t think there’s a doubt about it. There’s no way in a million years I could ever be a tomboy, so I think I’m 98% girly girl.

I’m both! I love playing sports and being active, but I also love the color pink, wearing dresses, doing my hair, and polishing my nails. I like classic cars and watching football on TV but I’m also very romantic and I like being feminine.
