I have a doubt over this article: http://www.wikihow.com/Run-Away-While-Pregnant-(Teens) I feel like it’s misguiding. Would like some opinions. Thanks in advance.

A lot of well known editors have passed up the chance to nominate it for deletion, so I guess it should stay. On the other hand, it contains personal references and Uppercase…so it needs to be copyedited. I’ll copyedited the article and remove the personal references and be back in a flash…

Having a doubt ‘‘all over’’ an article isn’t a reason to nominate it for deletion. There are specific reasons, whether it is nominated for accuracy, which would imply having a doubt, or dangerous, it could be, illegal, it isn’t necessarily illegal, but could be, or if it is a duplicate, there needs to be a specific reason to nominate it, and one isn’t apparent to me. It was nominated earlier, as ‘‘Not a How-to’’, but subsequently improved and retained. On the other foot, just because respected contributors have edited it without nominating it for deletion doesn’t mean it wouldn’t meet a deletion requirement, so if you feel strongly the content meets the deletion requirement, that may be the step you should take. Between nominating for deletion and ignoring the article are also steps like placing an accuracy, attention, or copyedit template to see if the article can be improved.

@shinako why were you reading this article anyways? And I think it is encouraging young teens to run away so… We can say it is misguiding and should be deleted.

It doesn’t encourage…it just tells you how to do it in case you need to…cant you see the running away while pregnant is NOT recommended text in the warning?. And also, I bet she came across it on RC patrol, you make it sound like she was reading it attentively:stuck_out_tongue:

@Mrappbrain I am sorry for those comments. Yesterday was not my birthday. I am already 13. My mom let my sister go on my wikiHow account that day… So… It is just that that I did not write those comments.

@Shinako Maybe this is an article we should have an expert look at? I’m thinking that maybe a someone from a home for runaways or a homeless organization might be able to look at this and offer some advice.
