I don’t know if others get frustrated that the work they put into writing an article can be deleted so easily but I don’t like it.
It’s very discouraging. Is it just that anyone can delete articles or only certain people have the power to do that? Does anyone know?
Only admins have the ability to delete articles. I know it can be frustrating to have an article deleted, but it shouldn’t frustrate anyone - on the contrary, it should be a learning experience. It’s a good opportunity for one to look at the deletion policy
, as well as the article on how to Write a New Article on wikiHow

Hi Angel, The most common reason for an article being nominated for deletion is duplication… so before you write… search for other titles on the topic and add to or improve them instead of writing a completely new article. The second most common reason for an article being nominated for deletion is “not a how to”. If an article does not give actionable instructions? It doesn’t belong in a how to manual… It would belong in an encyclopedia, blog or magazine instead. I can highly recommend the writers guide… and a couple of articles that I’ll place links to below… http://www.wikihow.com/Write-a-New-Article-on-wikiHow
