I see no issue with this. Spelling errors should be corrected at every step of the process

@Tiagoroth , I’ve been on the receiving end of edit clashes due to this before. I’ll admit that it’s quite annoying to get the edit conflict window just because of a tiny character change.

I think this bug may already be filed, though?

I’ve talked with @Anna in the past, and the report’s been filed for this. Anna should know the number; I don’t keep track of numbers like this. I do believe there is a report in the forums for that already.  https://forums.wikihow.com/discussion/22166/please-make-a-change-to-spellchecker-thoughts

This is a great point, @Batreeq , and as @Byankno1 mentioned, our engineers are aware of it as a potential change to make. Since it’s not strictly  a detrimental feature and since it doesn’t cause anything to break, this is still lower on the priority list than some of the other issues that come up, but staying hopeful that someone doing at least short-term work for wikiHow will be able to jump in there eventually:slight_smile:
