Hm… don’t we ALREADY have several indications of a “best” article? Things like facebook likes… and readership statistics at the bottom of an article? Furthermore, your comments here would seem to indicate that this “contest” is for NEW articles… yet the best article page says nothing about age of an article… only about voting for an article. Can you clarify?

I am so entering! So über excited, but I know I don’t stand a chance against everyone else.(More experienced people) But I am doing it for the contest but mostly for Wikihow.

@Loiswade42 Oh yeah, before the page had a lack of rules; Thanks for reminding me to update that. Still getting the system together for this so it’s still a little sketchy which is why I’m going to try to get more people involved for tips and things. I’m also going to try to do a variety of contests over the next few weeks to sort out each contest. About the statistics & New articles… I decided it would be a shame if someone were to link their article from before that just happened to be ‘featured’ which would cause it to have mass amounts of views. I don’t think the page views would be proper as those also depend on who has made them making that statistic slightly biased promoting some users to complain over that aspect. Also because this should advertise new articles in this contest I don’t think facebook likes would be a good choice either as the regular visitor is a little less likely to like a page on facebook causing newer articles to have little to no likes. This would be more likely to result in ties… Also, @Adelaide Cool article, thanks for being the first to enter C:

@Adelaide Did you make that article? I checked and unless I’m mistaken another user did. Also, it wasn’t created through the 11th to 25th so it cannot win. Please either make another article or tell me if I’m mistaken!

Alright, yesterday the contest ended! Anyone wanted to vote cannot, as only one person entered. It’s a disappointment however at the next contest I think we can do better. Then again, I can’t expect everyone to catch on so quickly. The next contest is going to be the Try It at Home Contest and will be announced on April 1st. The due-date will be substantially longer on this one and the contest will end on April 30th. I’m not announcing it officially yet, however, as I need to revise the page.
