Don’t know why I haven’t thought of this before, but if a page has the {{title}} template on it and is subsequently moved by a booster or admin, the template should automatically be removed to make the process slightly more efficient.

Ive had that same idea for years, but i feared their wouldn’t be enough engineers to institute a feature like that. It would be too complicated to design.

Interesting idea for a quality of life improvement! Although I’m not too sure if this is possible from a technical standpoint?

It may work if page moves were done through a specialized Community Dashboard tool (like how NFD Guardian deletes the page or removes the nfd depending on how the voting goes, or how the Cleanup/Format/Copyedit greenhouses can automatically remove the respective tags upon user confirmation). But because page moves are done manually through Special:MovePage, which is a core MediaWiki function, it may be difficult to implement automatically removing {{title}} after doing a move.

This would definitely be nice, but as Zygomatt mentioned, I’m not sure it’s something that’s possible without a new tool. I will add it to the feature requests list just in case!

Yeah, this would be good. I’m not sure if this is possible either though and making a new tool wouldn’t be worth it just for this.

Yes, certainly not worth making an entirely new tool. Of course, I’m not a software developer, so let’s see what they have to say. Hopefully it is feasible, but if not, it’s no big deal.
