I know I mentioned this to a Staff member in the past, but thought I’d mention this to most others that use the Manage Suggested Topics tool. The tool is where all those Requested topics go after they are sent via the Requested topics form. They have to get approved or rejected before they make the Answer Requests tool or get deleted. However, over the past year or so, it has come to my observation that the Edit button to edit a suggested title doesn’t work. If you get see a bad title but which has potential, if you click the Edit button, make the changes click the “Submit” then submit the title to the tool to be sent to be approved, if you then check the list of approved pages, they still show as the bad title (actually, yesterday one of the ones I edited never did show up on the list). Now, I know if these titles were written, they can still have their title changed, but can someone look into this matter of annoyances (on a rainy day perhaps).

The Edit button in Manage Suggested Topics works for me - I just checked the requests I’ve recently approved and the ones I know I’ve edited are showing up properly. Is it possible this could be a browser-specific thing? (I’m using Chrome, just in case.)

Hmm yeah, I recall we’ve talked about it and think I’ve seen it not work, but it just worked for me now, so there might be some more specifics to hunt down (browser or title specifics or similar). @Byankno1 , can you recall an example that didn’t work recently? Def agree and appreciate your acknowledgement that this isn’t the highest priority issue, but if we do gather examples, I can always get it filed for a rainy day fix and we can hope an engineer can get to the bottom of it eventually:slight_smile:

Thanks, both of you! Okay I managed to document some busted-ness, so that’s helpful. The logs look like they show up right, but the actual request doesn’t always come up edited. 

V glad we have the ability to change actually created titles in the meantime - that’s the important part! But hopefully we can get this issue ironed out eventually, so it’s less confusing for the folks who do use that Manage Suggestions page:slight_smile:
