(This is a long-time coming, and has been affecting all RC Patrollers. Sorry.)
We’ve been experiencing a bug in RCP
where once you get to the bottom of the list of diffs, that last edit (oldest edit) won’t patrol - regardless of which edit it is. However, it helps to manually patrol that edit from the Recent Changes script/list
. Instead, it’ll leave the diff onscreen. It’s Mark as Patrolled is ineffective at patrolling the diff; it has no Rollback button. You can still quick-note and quick edit as normal, but that adds to the backlog and only keeps that edit at the bottom.
If you turn it from oldest->newest, it won’t patrol the newest one instead, so it always leaves one diff behind.

I think this one is a bit of a mystery! The good news is that the edit is never stuck for long, and they can also be patrolled manually. Luckily it doesn’t have any lasting impacts on a particular edit, but agree it’s not ideal!
