Hi there, I would like my talk page decorated but I don’t know how to do it! If anyone knows please could you tell me!

Thanks!

Hi there! I could teach you. All you have to do is go on my talk page and copy the code on my talk page and start changing up all the borders and colors which I will teach you how to do below! If you noticed that it said something like #FF3300 or something that’s the color, also known as a hexadecimal. If you want to know what colors to use using that code just go online and search up a hexadecimal chart. Under the colors on the chart it will have a code. Or you can just say red, green, pink, etc. Most users like it better if you use hexadecimals because when typing in the actual color name then publishing it it sometimes harms the users eyes and they ask you to change it. Plus, if you use hexadecimal you have hundreds of colors to choose. Now let’s get on with borders. In The code above I typed in “border style:double”. That’s where you pick what type of border you want. You can choose from dashed, dotted, double, ridge (groove), inset, or solid. That’s all you basically need to know on how to do it. Just copy and paste the code above into a talk/user page, change the border and colors and you’re done. But you also need to know that copying other people’s design is not allowed on wikihow. It’s unfair to the user who has that design. I can help you if you need some about page designing. Or if you want I can design your page. Just tell me if you need anything!

Oh, hi @Gymnast7 . I asked you to decorate my talk page but I have read this comment and I think I know how to do it! I have thought of a theme, I am going to do it blue! I will see if it’s OK, but seeing as I am a learner, it’ll probably be rubbish compared to yours, well probably it wouldn’t even compare!

I love your talk page!

^ Oh, that’s good! And don’t worry, beginners aren’t perfect in the beginning but as they go they get better. Make sure you don’t copy other designs. Wait, do you still want me to design your page or do you want to stick with the one you have?
