If you are using traditional RC Patrol, you can’t patrol pages creations, such as Talk pages, or User pages (it works on Discussion pages though). Normally, a “Mark as Patrolled” link and “Skip” link would appear at the bottom of the page, but that has not happened since the redesign.

This is curious, because I have come across other pages recently that still have the “Mark as Patrolled” and “Skip” at the bottom of the page, but this User Page creation didn’t (I did catch it before it got patrolled elsewhere). Let’s keep an eye out to see if it’s a common occurrence.

I have an update. I tried to patrol a new user page creation at this URL from traditional RC Patrol: https://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=User:ANAYELI-ROSASRAMIREZ&rcid=27533431&namespace=&invert=0&associated=0&reverse=0&redirect=no&fromrc=1

And the options did not come up. Here is a screenshot:

Hey @R2_d2000 after looking into this, it looks like these are not traditional User pages. All normal User and Talk pages are autopatrolled and have a revision ID 0. This seems to be another user creating a user page manually. I will follow up with the user about this and hopefully we won’t see them in RC patrol moving forward. Thanks!

I found a workaround.

Next time this happens, append &action=markpatrolled to the URL.  This will allow you to patrol the page even if you cannot view the diff.
