So, I got an email address for Christmas. I went to my preferences in wikiHow, clicked on “Change Email Address”, and this happened: It made me sign in again and then it redirects me to the main page. I want to change my email address so people can email me, but I can’t.
Not sure if this is a bug or not, so I’m not putting it in Bug Reports.

Still the same thing: I sign in, it then redirects me to the main page. I’m using Google Chrome (the latest version I think), and the software is Windows 10.
I have a few questions as I was not experiencing the same issue on a test account.
- Do you have cookies enabled? Try turning off in private mode.
- Have you tried logging out and logging back in? Sometimes the session times out and will not let you save any edit. In that case, you will need to delete wikiHow’s cookies and log in again to continue editing.
- Are you logging in via Google or Facebook? If so, you will need to unlink your Google or Facebook account from wikiHow before you can add an email address or change the password.

Hi! I do have a question here (not related to this report,): I suddenly have a doubt that I’ll be able to use the same mail-ID for both my accounts?
When you add your email address on wikiHow, it sends you a confirmation email on your new email address. You open that email and confirm the information. Have you received confirmation? If not try asking for a confirmation message.
How do I remove my email address?
Navigate to Special:ChangeEmail
, enter you username and password. Then, on the page, leave the New email address box blank and click, “Change email”.
