I went to create an article today, and there’s no way to switch to advanced editing. This happened yesterday too. Is there a way to fix this???

Hi @PianoLover1016 . This is actually intentional, because we don’t want people swapping between the two and losing their work. 

There are a couple of options if you’d like to use the advanced editor: 

  1. You can start with the guided editor, then simply publish, and then click to edit it. I’d recommend you add an {{inuse}} tag if you don’t want it to go through to review straight away.

  2. When you want to create an article, you can go to wikihow.com/Title-of-my-Article (where “Title-of-my-Article” is the title you want the article to have). This will bring you to a page that says “Oops! The page you requested doesn’t seem to exist.” You can simply click “edit” on that page to create the new article!
