It could be a subcategory under Cosplay and Roleplaying, entitled Furry Fandom. Since there are so many aspects to the fandom other than that (such as the art, media, and non-cosplayers) I thought that that category could cover most of the bases in one category. I actually use slang as thee very last resort, whereas there are no other possible names to describe it as. I don’t favor “Furry Fandom” as a suitable name for that reason and it’s kind of unprofessional, so would “Anthropomorphism” be better? Also, the Neko Girl Cat Ears/Tail article would be suitable in the Animal Costumes, as well as the other one (furry is just a general adjective towards the cat ears; nothing relating to the current furry topic).
It’s what a lot of people call it, though. And anthropomorphism is a very broad topic.

Is there any other non-slang term and does wikiHow need a “Furry” category, as well as if there’s another reason aside from just having the “at least 5 article” ruling?
I don’t think it’s even slang. May I include this excerpt from the Wikipedia article on it: “The specific term furry fandom was being used in fanzines as early as 1983, and had become the standard name for the genre by the mid-1990s”. The furry fandom is also a very large (and growing) community, and it has become almost a subculture.
