I have rolled in some new changes to wikiTutor. • Tutoring now is only done in wikiTutor’s IRC channel , since there were difficulties when signing up in the wikiTutor Forums . • Updates will no longer be posted in the wikiHow Forums or as a newsletter - They will be posted in the wikiTutor Forums and by @wikiTutor on Twitter. • The wikiTutor Forums now have moderators. To become a moderator, please follow the instructions posted in the MISC section of the wikiTutor Forums.

I’ll get my contributes up, probably in the next month, as one of the Wikihow members said, “Quality is better then Quantity”. June Days

Why? You don’t need to be a forum moderator to be a wikiTutor and improve the grammar of users on wikiHow.

Excuse me? I did not understand one part of that, I meant contrubutions on my Wikihow profile page, you know, articles, and edits? I thought the tutor thing said it had to be at least 500 cuntributes. June Days

To be a wikiTutor Forum moderator you need to have 500 edits, not to be a tutor. Read http://m.wikihow.com/wikiHow:WikiTutor for more info.

Oh! I’m sorry, I misunderstood what you were saying, stupid me, thank you for helping me out. June Days

No problem.

Wait, what? How do I sigh up to be a tutor? June Days

Add your name to your categories of expertise here .

@June Days I fixed the links to your name for you.

:frowning:My parents don’t allow chatting, any other possibly way?

You can just send back-to-back talk page messages (not too many or it’ll raise RC and make patrollers mad), or if you both have email you can contact them that way. If the author needs to be helped in a way in which IRC is mandatory, leave them for another tutor.

hey! I am sorry but can you please tell me more about wikiTutor?

http://m.wikihow.com/wikiHow:WikiTutor Any specific questions you might have?

thanks. that was helpful.

I think the IRC is is cool!

But I saw you on IRC a million times…?

It says my IP address is not allowed…Why lol?

@Peter gray only wikiTutor Forum moderators can have accounts on the forums, which I personally create to avoid the invalid IP address problem. But, you can still read the posts in the forums.

WikiTutor is great!

That was before… :\
