Is there a place that users can locate the articles that have received images from wikiphoto/visual? I was thinking it could be a project idea, for those who want something to do, to make sure images work with the text. Sort of a low priority, easyish type of task.

I don’t think there is (except for Wikiphoto’s contributions). Maybe we can create one.

There isn’t any doubt this would be useful, Anna can probably attest to the many message I relay from discussionpages regarding incorrect images, even some dangerously bad images, but it would be a little tricky since reviewing the images needs to be done by someone familiar with the article topic. The general contribs list is here, http://www.wikihow.com/Special:Contributions/Wikiphoto
, but like you say, it would be nice to have a simple article list.

Cool project idea! I dip in the contribution list myself sometimes, and the team is always glad to have fresh eyes giving feedback when something is off, particularly from people who know the topic really well (not that I know any topics all that well myself! I’m a classic generalist, hah… But feedback in niche areas from the likes of BR and IsabelleZita has been really great, and lots of other folks have passed on valuable feedback, too). This link is probably the one you want: http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?limit=150&tagfilter=&title=Special%3AContributions&contribs=user&target=Wikivisual&namespace=0&year=2014&month=-1
– it’s Wikivisual (the newer bot, that’s replaced Wikiphoto for most uploads), filtered by main namespace, so effectively an article list
Easy link here: http://bit.ly/1jhEdd8
(Good idea @Ttrimm
! I always forget about bit.ly) You can also patrol by user with Wikivisual in the RCP tool if you want to; that’s fun sometimes, getting to flip through all the good images that get added - and getting to help make sure the not-so-good ones are replaced/improved!
Sounds like a cool project
This is a great thing to do. wikiPhoto has gotten a lot better from @BR
's advice alone! More folks looking after wikiPhoto would be awesome. Reviewing the link that BR points out is probably the best way for folks to do this. http://www.wikihow.com/Special:Contributions/Wikiphoto
Quick question: Do photos get added for all articles or is there a methodology? I just noticed that photos got added to an article that may have been added only to promote the website mangabite.com

Pretty much any article that’s established is a candidate for getting images. In this particular case, since it’s been around for over 6 months and isn’t NFD’d, it happened to receive images. That being said, articles that are easier to create images for are more likely to receive images
But as always, images can be requested for higher priority on the Wikivisual talk page!
@Krystle
Thanks for the explanation. I will try to look more at wikiphoto and provide feedback.
