Aww, damn it! At lunch time, the student council was playing Christmas songs. They’ve been doing so since the 1st day we came back from Thanksgiving break lol (December 2nd) and they already played “All I Want For Christmas Is You”…
And today they played “Last Christmas” by Wham, which broke my Whamageddon streak!I’m not British (the British go wild over this game lol) but I’ve played this game since last yr lol.
Technically I broke my streak nine months ago when this boogiehead compilation of the top songs of 1984 came out (which included Last Christmas) but I didn’t count that since I would always mute the song a second after it started playing lol. And I think the original game starts in December lol.

It’s supposed to be a British game played starting from December 1st.
If you accidentally hear “Last Christmas” by Wham playing anywhere before Christmas (December 25)(like at school or the mall) you lose and you have to wait until next year. Covers and instrumentals don’t count, so stuff like Rose’s cover of the song doesn’t count. The Brits are fanatics of this game lol.

I’ve played this since last yr lol. I posted about it too.

There is actually an American version of this game played with Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” lol. You have to avoid her song as much as possible.

LOL that would NOT be possible for me… 1) that song is played EVERYWHERE and 2) even if it wasn’t I wouldn’t be able to NOT listen to it… I may be the only freak on the Internet who actually loves that song:sweat_smile:

Omg the Google Santa Tracker website is pretty nostalgic. I used to go on it every year to see where Santa was. During the daytime, I saw him in Asia and Europe- it was pretty cool! And at nighttime he would be in South America, like he is now as of 10 PM: Google Santa Tracker
