Does ‘Edits patroled’ count as an contribution?

Patrolling an edit does not increase the number of contributions made on the counter at the bottom of your user page, if that’s what you mean? For those who display “My wikiHow Stats” on their user page (like you do), there is a separate section that displays the number of edits you’ve patrolled.:slight_smile:

Thanks, but I know that it doesn’t show up on the user page, but what I meant is do they count edit patrols as an contribution in like application forms?

Not sure what you mean by “in like application forms” - can you clarify?

I remember that in order to get a promotion, your account as to be a month old and you have to do at least 300 contributions, and if you have both of those you can go *apply* and get a promotion.

I see. Patrolled edits would not count as a contribution in what you’re describing.
