I made a new template at {{temp|imagevio}}. I just wanted to show you.

  1. Don’t make coaching templates without community approval/consensus. 2. What’s wrong with a nice personal note?

For one, it’s pink – I cope with a LOT of pink in real life (just trust me for that)… two, there’s really no major issues concerning using wikiHow as an actual image server. The people whom deal with images in general can be assistance for that and it really takes as much time to delete the images as to upload them (for me, it’s faster since I use multiple tabs). I would have to agree with the personal note – if it really comes down to it being an issue with an individual editor.

So my template is not approved?

What personal note?

You can take a minute to write up a note to the user instead of using a template.

  1. Read this article: http://www.wikihow.com/Create-a-wikiHow-Template (the first step states that you’ll need a community consensus for coaching templates) 2. Your template is similar to one we already have: {{Pic}}. The {{Pic}} template posts the following: “Hi, I noticed you uploaded an unused image. However, unused images are eventually deleted. As a reminder, please feel free to upload images, but only if you plan to use them. Thanks.” 3. Thus, I don’t see a need for another template. And like JKL and Maluniu said, individual notes always work!

Problem solved. This discussion may be closed.

You don’t have to post every time a thread needs to be closed; it’ll just sink on its own. (; June Days
