Hello, I was wondering if I could create a copyediting practice in my user space? Basically, I would create the page under something like User:Adelaide1230/Practice Copyediting, and other users could practice their editing skills. (This also applies to other “editing practices” such as a formatting practice, where other users would practice their formatting skills). However, I thought that this also might not be necessary. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated. Thank you!

There have been discussions in the past regarding creating personal sandboxes, and they have always been discouraged, if I recall correctly. On the other hand, when you create that kind of page and especially if you allow other people to use it, it tends to be confusing to patrollers trying to sort out who is doing what, and why…

This is the entire concept of the Sandbox.

Thank you for your input. If these sorts of pages are not necessary, and confuse patrollers, I will not create this page. If others would like to practice their editing skills, I would have to echo Maluniu’s comment that the Sandbox is for that.
