I have just joined today and saw that there are quite a lot of articles to do with cotton fabrics. Could this be a sub-category or something for the categories DIY or arts and crafts? Here are some of the articles I found:

Cotton seeds have nothing to do with the articles about caring for cotton fabrics, so I don’t think that should be included, and that leaves only 4 articles left, which isn’t enough for a new category- do you have any others?

I’m not sure if we need such a category. I’m not seeing how washing/shrinking cotton relates to arts & crafts as a broad concept.

FYI, new category suggestions go through a pretty thorough critique from the community. This is normal so there’s no need to get disheartened.
WikiHowians are quite picky about how our categories are structured! As you learn the ropes here, you’ll naturally explore the categories and get a stronger sense of their structure over time.
I personally have no opinion on this suggestion as I know nothing about the arts and crafts category.
I’m not sure if this is needed, but I guess we could have a fabrics category, maybe.
