I have noticed that, if I am correct, I have more ‘contributions’ than just about anyone. I don’t see how that is possible. So, I am curious about what makes a contribution. We have some pretty high number power editors and I didn’t think my numbers would be higher than theirs.

Taking actual vacations killed me, lol. (P.S. adding one related wikiHow through NAB counts as one contribution, so adding 3 to one article is 3 contributions already)

I am not sure, really, but wH really appriciates your contributions ttrimm.
I do notice that you are an admin and you boost a LOT of articles, though. Also, when I look at my contributions, it says stuff like I made a contribution to “User_talk:Sappires” or whoever the user is. I don’t think that is a true contribution, but I think it counts as one.

Your contributions number (on your user page) is every edit you’ve ever made, EXCEPT edits to user and talk pages
About this… For a while, they though about implementing an extension to determine whether or not a contribution should count as an actual contribution… I guess they decided not to go with it.

By the way, it doesn’t count as a contribution. It appears on http://www.wikihow.com/Special:Contributions
, but it doesn’t count.
