I think my forum discussion on suggesting articles for different ways to strengthen the abdominal muscles got deleted. Therefore, I would like to know on what grounds it was deleted.
Same here… My discussion got deleted in less than 30mins after I posted it!
@Seth101
your discussion may have gotten deleted because:
-
It was a chat thread. This is why wikiTwitter exists.
-
It was an advertisement.
What was your discussion about?
CurvyOrange I don’t understand either… sorry.
Just so you know, starting threads like these is generally silly since they accuse the admin who did the action of “wrongdoing” when they don’t feel they did anything wrong. From what I know, Marina and other admins allow you to e-mail them if you’d like to mention, ask about, or even criticize a deletion, closure, or something else. Be sure you don’t spam their inboxes, though.

Sorry to hear that your threads were deleted. Unlike the main site, wikiHow’s forums don’t have public logs that record forum moderation so there’s no way to know who deleted or closed a thread. Admins moderate the forums under their own discretion and explanations aren’t always given. I don’t know what the topics of your threads were, but closure or deletion may be warranted in the case of spam (including an old thread being bumped by a spammer), offensive content, or inappropriate topics. I hope this helps.
