I’ve been dropping into the suggested articles section, and some of the time, some suggested articles have already been created. Perhaps there should be a way to delete those?

Ah! Thanks! However, can it be possible that a more elegant solution be implemented?

I’m not entirely sure! That’s as much as I know. There may be a better way. When in doubt ask @Krystle .

I know of this page: http://www.wikihow.com/Special:ProposedRedirects Which is what happens when you click “This article is already a duplicate” from the requests app. (as far as I know, it’s only available to boosters though.)

@Clarinetdude Please realize that this editor ( @General-Rommel ) is neither a booster nor an admin, and the article you referenced is one that pertains to people with Admin rights only.

Well, its always good to know right?

@Byankno1 It is true that this page: http://www.wikihow.com/Special:ManageSuggestions can only be accessed by boosters and admins That is why the first method on the page I cited exists. It is so non-boosters and non-admin’ can accomplish what the 2nd and 3rd methods do. Anyone can create redirects. I believe the first method was what @General-Rommel was referring to-as it is rather slow and cumbersome to directly edit to create redirects.

@Clarinetdude @Byankno1 I am a booster and can’t access Special:ManageSuggestions? Maybe it’s Special:ManageSuggestedTopics?

@Adelaide1230 That’s what I was trying to get at, with @Clarinetdude . We can only approve new requested articles, and not remove old inaccurate ones.

@Byankno1 @Adelaide1230 Can you two see http://www.wikihow.com/Special:ManageSuggestedTopics

@clarinetdude all’s well on that page here. I can see that one!
