Is this the right place to talk about another thing I spotted? Maybe not, but I’m not sure what’s the right place for this, so I’ll just post it here for now.
I see, that if I select a portion of one of my own posts, besides the “Quote” option, I can see an “Edit” option. I don’t think I could see this earlier, could we? If I click “Edit” (or press E on the keyboard), a pop-up box appears, where I can edit that portion of my message. The pop-up only appears if a small chunk is selected – selecting a large portion opens the default post editing box. I personally really liked this one too!
Looks like this for me:image
After clicking “Edit”:image

Just wanted to share a tip about Discourse.

If an image that you try to post won’t upload, that means that it’s to big. You can use an online photo compressor, like this one or this one , to make is smaller and then try again.

Hey, nice, thanks! But I’ve noticed sometimes that when you paste an image for your clipboard, it’d get stuck at processing (sometimes, of course, at least not always for me), but if you save the image onto your device and then upload it from the “Upload” button, it gets uploaded perfectly fine. Any tips on being able to be able to paste it without it getting stuck?

I’d recommend just uploading it with the button in that case.

Oh, okay! But then I need to save it, and I don’t always feel like doing that!:stuck_out_tongue:

I am new to this platform after hearing so much about if and seeing random posts on internet. I wanted to ask if I could get some help on how to make the most of this site, it would be great.
