I’ve not had any email notification of talk page messages and changes to articles on my watch list today.  My email is working fine and wikiHow emails are not going into another folder like spam.

Hmm, okay - not sure if this might be related to those other engineering changes from yesterday or not; I’ll ask.

That being said, I’ve received watchlist emails today. Have you tried turning your emails off and saving, and then on again? You can do that here:  https://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Special:Preferences&success=1#mw-prefsection-echo

Also worth resetting your watchlist, by clicking “Mark all pages visited” here:  https://www.wikihow.com/Special:Watchlist

Ok! It’s certainly possible they’re broken. I’ve received watchlist emails today, but I don’t get talk page ones anyway. Does anyone else reading this usually get them, and have you seen a change if so?

Well @Anna , that is odd, I’ve changed my wikiHow email address and not getting anything, but…I am getting updates from Forum posts I am following still going to my old email address, does that help the engineers?

Well in theory the emails should go to whichever email you have saved in there! I’m having some email trouble, too, though, so I think Reuben and I will need to keep poking at this bear today. Let me know if the behavior changes for you at any point…!

For others reading this, can you let us know if you’re not receiving your regular emails, either? Thanks!

^ I turned on my email notifications since I saw this and it’s working fine for me (although one of them has that hyperlink bug).

@SarahB I think we may have resolved at least part of the email issue. If you’re getting talk/watchlist emails again, let me know! For me, watchlist and user emails are back again - just not talk page message emails. Fingers crossed some are also now working for you and the rest will be soon:slight_smile:

@Anna Hi, I changed my email address since I came back. I received a few emails on the new email on the first few days Now the last few talkpage notifications I did not get. Also my new email is not getting authenticated. On the preference page, when I click on send the confirmation code option, it says code sent. However Im not receiving any code in either of my emails. As you asked Sarah to mark all in the link, I did too. However, when I tried to disable my email, it says, it has to be authenticated first. Please help. Sorry about the long message. The email in the forums is also strange numeric one. But thats not very important right now.

Hey @Vishwavijay - part of the bug meant that a few emails didn’t get sent for a particular period of time so I’m guessing that was the case for your verification email, and that’s now affecting the others (rather than them being buggy themselves, though they may be). Can you try removing your address and then re-adding it again now that some of these bugs are fixed? You may need to check your spam folder, too. Sarah is getting hers again so I’m hopeful others will too:slight_smile:

@Anna I was a bit hesitant to report this issue also because I am having trouble logging in to my email account since yesterday. Google is showing - Error no. Thats all we know - message. When I saw this thread I thought it best to be reported just in case. I will let you know when both the problems get sorted, my gmail and wH notifications. Thanks for your time.:slight_smile:
