Hi everyone. My parents got divorced recently and, due to having been unemployed for nearly sixteen years, my mother is having no luck getting a job. I don’t want to ask too much, but it’s been a few months now to no avail, and we’re getting desperate. Does anyone have any advice?
Does your mom specialize in anything or have earned a degree in college?
Yes, she has a degree in dietetics and used to work in a hospital, deciding what meals are best for people with issues related to eating. However, she hasn’t worked in a while, thanks to having kids, and all the places she’s tried have turned her down because of it. She’s tried smaller jobs as well, but they’ve rejected her because they think she’s overqualified and would ask for higher pay.
This is really a lot to go through. How about online jobs. I hear theres a lot of vacancy for freelance writers in various sections (including the area in which your mother holds a degree). I might not ask about if your father is thinking of supporting you and the rest of the family. As it may hurt, but its a possibility.Life is tough but I am glad you turned to wikiHow and us. Once I get more solutions, ill get back here with it. I know you are a strong girl!
Huh, that’s an interesting idea. I’ll look into that and ask her about it. Thanks!
Sure, no problem. A little extra research will help if you find a freelance writers job. A- They pay double than regular office goers (Since we use our resources to do the job) B- Their existence must be checked first (in terms of frauds) and how the pay is going to be transferred.
If its a brand or an old company, then nothing can stop from finding your haven then
Hey, sorry to bother you all again, but I just wanted to say that my mom finally got a job! She’s an assistant substitute teacher in our school district, and we’re all very excited. Thank you all so much for your support! <3<3<3<3
