Hi, whilst trying to submit a change to my talk page message, I’m told that wikiHow is offline, and to check the Twitter Feed. For the Engineers, the error is “Status:503 client read error Varnish-guru-mediation-XID:3019924701 X-Served-By:(null)” Hope this can be fixed soon, happened twice in a row.
I’ve moved this thread over to bug reports, since that’s where people go to check for information about bug like this. I’ve had that happen to me before, but it’s not happening to me now when I’ve used parts of wikiHow this morning. Did it only happen when you were accessing your talkpage?

Hey Iuean, Are you still seeing any gnomes now? I just tried a test edit on the template and it went through – are you able to edit on it now? The gnomes occasionally pop up on very long pages where there’s a lot to process, or there could have been a temporary blip. I’m currently able to send Talks and edit without any gnome action, so I’m hoping it’s passed for you, too! But if not, let me know exactly which Talk it was on – sometimes there are some templates that mess things up (usually, html tags that aren’t closed, that kind of thing), so I can hunt around!

Well, I played around quite a bit testing out the template on a couple of different user’s pages (hers and another user’s), and I tried sending her a regular message, too. I didn’t see gnomes this time, so hopefully it was just a temporary glitch! Let me know if you see it again, though. Thanks Ieuan!
