I found two featured articles without any other tags in Edit by Topic, and one was a featured article with a stub tag… Some of them are not featured, but do not have any other tags. Is this normal, or a glitch from my side, or a bug?

That’s normal. Stub tags - regardless of their featuring - will push the articles to the Greenhouse.

I didn’t know that it was possible for an article to have a stub tag and a featured tag… I thought all FAs had to be out of quality review.

They could have been featured a long time ago, but now was re-discovered to need the stub tag - so the tag was placed. Can you link some of those you saw?

Was that directed to me or @Jasmine_Snowdrop ?

@That21PilotsFan directed at you.

It wasn’t entirely clear what you were asking, what should I link?

(Sorry, this could just be my incredibly tired brain talking. I didn’t sleep much last night.)

Over recent years, our quality standards and expectations have increased pretty significantly. Sometimes well-written articles that were marked as FA a few years ago are now stubbed today as a result of reader feedback and other analyses.

The StubBot automatically stubs and de-indexes articles deemed to be incomplete and unhelpful to readers, according to reader feedback and today’s quality standards. This is one example of an FA in 2015 which was stubbed by the bot in 2019 https://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Make-Crispy-Cream-Cheese-Wontons&oldid=27173940 - ultimately I removed the stub myself just a couple months ago because I’ve made this particular recipe multiple times and can personally say it’s as complete as it can be.

Thank you so much! Is it also normal for articles without any stub, format or cleanup or any other tags to appear?

https://www.wikihow.com/Add-and-Subtract-Square-Roots - featured, no other tags.
https://www.wikihow.com/Calculate-the-Circumference-of-a-Circle - featured, no other tags.
https://www.wikihow.com/Graph-a-Function - not featured but no other tags either.

That’s what I found strange too… Thank you!
