I’ve been finding the past couple of days that if someone tags me, I haven’t been seeing it in my notifications until at least a day later (if not at all). I don’t know if this is a bug, or if anyone else is having this problem. @Anna wondering if you could help.:slight_smile:

I’m not having this problem. This is strange. Did you try reloading the page?

I’ve had this sporadically; I think it’s a problem with the forum software itself. But this is definitely not a new issue. It’s been happening for months. For what it’s worth, Anna tagged me in a post yesterday and I got the notification, so I think it might be you running into the bug quite often, Leah.:slight_smile:

Yeah, I did. I got the notifications for your comments. I may have had this once before too, but it was a while ago.

Vanilla can definitely be a little odd and finicky - I don’t know of any particular known, reproducible bugs here, but I believe you that some notifications have gone missing. It’s possible it has to do with posts that have been edited, or something like that - or it’s possible it’s a glitch that just rears its ugly head sometimes. I got the email and notification when you tagged me, though, Leah, so hopefully that’s a decent sign!

Have you tried unsetting and re-setting all your notifications? Sometimes a bit of a kickstart can help… I’d try a) going to  http://forums.wikihow.com/profile/notifications and making sure the number is all cleared out and then b) going  http://forums.wikihow.com/profile/preferences/ and unchecking/saving and then rechecking/saving your preferences there.  Might help kick it into gear again!
