I was thinking that we could use something like the “An author has sent you a Talk Page message” except with the forums.It could say “An author has left a comment on your discussion” or something like that with a link to it. Does anyone agree?
I think we do have something like that already! If you look at the top bar where it lists “Categories, All Discussions, your username, and Sign Out”, every time someone posts on your discussion, there should be a little blue thing with a number on it by the username button. The number shows how many posts did people make on your discussions, plus how many times someone mentioned you in a comment. If you click on your username, it takes you to a page where there’s a couple tabs. If you click on the one that has “Notifications” on it, it will show you who did what on your discussions!
@Techflash1
I know that thing, but I mean on your User Page when you first come into wikiHow.
Hmm…it might affect the RC count, and plus, you could just bookmark the forums or make it your homepage! XD
I prefer it the way it is now. The forums do a good job of notifying you if someone has commented on your discussion.

Hey our forum is not a part of Mediawiki using which our main site is running. Our forum is using Vanilla forum software. And with my little knowledge I think it is not possible to have notification like that as it’s not something that belongs to us, it’s a product from Vanilla. If there is any add-on for this, then it may possible.
@Iamsh
We could ask Vanilla if we could!
