Hi all,I just wanted to let you know that the Sort/Approve questions tool has been taken down again for the moment, but it will be back up as soon as possible.

It’s still down because there have been some security issues with the tool that haven’t yet been resolved. I’ll be sure to let you know when it’s back up

Does anyone have a due date for when it’ll be back up? It was high enough before it went down, but now its even higher. Do we want the tool to explode?

We’ll probably have to wait until 2021 until it is fixed. I think that the wikiHow engineers, along with the rest of the wikiHow staff are on vacation until sometime in early January.

I was looking through this again, and I remembered that the tool is still down for maintenance. Anyone know how much longer it’s going to take?

BTW, I noticed that the Approve Questions section on Community Dashboard says “0 questions to approve.” Now, this can’t be possible, since the backlog has always been really high, and the tool is down. I would’ve filed a bug report, but I’m TL0 so…
I’m not seeing that on my end, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s deliberate, so that people don’t click on the tool and then get confused on why it doesn’t work. Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about cosmetic bugs on a tool that’s down for maintenance - it’s not affecting the functionality of the site
