One of the least frequented areas of wikiHow is the Nominated articles For Deletion. (If you are looking to become an admin, this is a great place to get noticed since it’s frequented by the admins!) While it’s easier to just slap on a nfd tag on an article, it doesn’t help your fellow editors (or the admins that ultimately remove the article or tag) if you don’t provide an explanation to your nomination. It may seem obvious to you but may not be as obvious to anyone else. So please make sure that you discuss why you think the article should be deleted in the article’s talk page. Too often I find myself removing nfds because the nominator failed to provide any reason and I cannot find anything wrong with the article.
Thanks for the reminder! =)
Never thought about that! (Even though I don’t add tags often)
I fully agree with this. Currently guarding NFDs with the INC tag with no apparent reason why it is placed there. Even so with ADV.
