Ooh, fun. Unfortunately I have gift ideas but they’re hard to implement (for example, trying to find pretty, western silk scarves). Just thought of a gift idea kinda from my family to a guy family friend, though. Cookies. :3

What do you guys have for kinda casual but caring gift ideas?

^I’d try something homemade. A homemade what would depend on the person receiving it, but maybe something along the lines of knitting a pair of gloves, or baking them something, or if you’re good at crafts (which I am not) you could just make them a little trinket, like the beaded spiders you showed us that one time (except maybe not spiders, but something more relevant to the season).

I always manage to bring a big smile :DDDD this big with my gifts. What I do to buy the best gift it,

  1. See what they are doing. If they’re a student, then a good color box, colorful notebooks with colored pages to maintain color coded subjects for writing , or a good chocolate bar for them (If I have no idea).
  2. If its an adult then again upon what they do. FOr an office goer, a file to maintain their office papers, a branded expensive pen, a t-shirt or a formal shirt.

When I am out of money, I make a greeting card and write a message which is true to them.

I also keep a track on what they do, what they might need and that they dont have yet.

I need to find something for my mom. Probably around $20. She loves chocolate, but I’d like to get her something else…

^You could give your mother something that she could use as personal care. Or slippers. Whatever she likes.:slight_smile:

Does she have any hobbies?

She makes homemade cards but she doesn’t need any more supplies; she has everything that she needs.

Is there any postcards, letters, or pictures that she keeps and cherish? Maybe she has a need for a homade album or display case to keep them. Or if you’ve kept cards that she has given you overtime, you can create a scrapbook around them and give them to her as a present.

I need to go shopping sometime. She gets cold a lot so maybe I could find her something warm to wear.:slight_smile:

^ Make her a beanbag. Easy, cute, you get to pick the fabric, and super nice for when you’re cold.
