Alright so there’s this guy in my grade who I’ve “known” for a few years now, in a loose sense of the term (I’m a nerd; he’s a Popular; you get the picture). Anyway, lately, he’s started talking to me. Now, this kid is basically the most positive and optimistic person in the history of ever and talks to virtually everyone, but I don’t just mean casual small talk, like a brief greeting in the hallway. I mean instigating and drawing out conversations. On top of that, I’ve caught him looking at me multiple times. Not in a creepy, stalker-ish way, just a school-boy-crush way (Or at least, that’s how I interpret it). Does he actually have a crush on me, or am I just imagining it? And if he does, what do I do?
Ok, so first I just wanna say, don’t assume he likes you, cause if you are like, “I like u too” and he DOSENT like u, things can go down hill. I have made that mistake. So it does sound like he is at least interested in you, but I don’t really know about anything so maybe @Vishwavijay

Yeah, the thing is, is he’s sweet and all, but I DON’T like him, so I’m afraid he might ask me out, and I don’t know how to turn someone down without hurting them, since I’ve never actually turned someone down before ever.

Don’t ignore him, I guess, but kinda avoid him in a way that seems natural. If that makes sense. But I don’t know if you can trust me to advise you.
