Friends, I just need a little suggestion. I’ve got my 1st results, and I’ve scored 97.69%. But still, I’m on 2nd position. The boy who came first had 97.71%. Very close, na!
So, I just want a little advice - Should I be Happy or Sad?
Hahahaha I always find students who score vreally well always long for a littttle bit more… This is what makes excellent scorers score so well. Feel happy because not all have scored as much as you and be motivated to score even higher and have the education help you and the society at large in the longer run
Thanks a lot @Vishwavijay

@WarriorOfEden
and @Bobolica02
. Now. I think that about 60% of my mind is telling me to be happy while the 40% is still not sure!!!
Hey you are back after a long time
How are you?
Its fine to have mixed feelings when you are still a student. I think it helps in keeping up the motivation
@Vishwavijay
I was just too much busy with the load of co-curricular activities!!! However, nice to be back!!
And @Juxtazexx
well first of all thanks a lot for at least you thought me even worthy of your appreciation- every word means a lot to me!!! But you know there’s a strong competitive environment in my school! And even the slightest up or down means a lot!!!
And what makes the situation worst is that teachers don’t ask percentage when they ask the topper to stand up!! So. most of my friends are depressed but I’m not- thanks to you all I’m as cheerful and enthusiastic as a newby in the school!!!
@Jutazexx
Then also when teachers expect at least 99% ???
@Juxtazexx
I’ll ask my teachers for sure!!! Well thanks for the idea
@Vishwavijay
I’ll surely not try(although some teachers can really be very hard sometimes). But still, they are my teachers and my guides.Guru Devo Bhavah
@Vishwavijay
Haha!!!
Well there are some funny teachers in my class too. Once a boy in our class was talking too much, and it was Maths period. So, our Maths teacher was very much irritated but he did not want to hurt the boys feelings by scolding him in front of the class. So he just went to that boy and slapped lovingly on both his cheeks. The boy said-“Why did you slap me,sir?” Then sir laughed and said-“Oh, it was just my way to show love and care!!”
Then the boy replied-“Thappar se dar nahi lagta sir, pyar se dar lagta hai!!”(a famous dialogue from Dabangg movie)!!!
Hehehe crazy kids and teacher
Just to translate the film dialogue: Slaps dont scare me sir but love does.
@Vishwavijay
Hey! It’s just a bit of all the non sense that happens all the time in my school. Do you want to know some more?
Okay let me tell you about one.
One day we were playing a game in which we had to make a story by team work. I mean every member of the team had to join one sentence each to the story. so, it went like this-
A- There was a boy-
B-who was sleeping at night-
C-in his bed-
D-Suddenly he fell down-
E-Then a mouse came and stood up on him-
F-then he died under the weight of that mice!
G-then his mother came and murdered the mice!
H-she was arrested and hanged for doing so!
A-Happy ending!!!
I dont think such bold jokes are okay on this forums, I guess. We in India speak all sorts of things. :D But I have noticed this acute consideration with foreigners. Its a good thing. They are very careful not to use any terms that would hurt others’ sentiments
Oh, I remember the first time I acted like a bad student just to look cool, but well it didnt end well.
This new teacher was in class for a proxy class. She was just sitting and I was on first bench. I just aped her hand movement. And she noticed and instead of getting angry, she nicely explained,
Kid, if you are playing pranks, do it in such a way that the teachers dont see you!
*So embarresed*
I never did it again.
