As the new statistician, I present the current statistics of the project’s work.  You can view them here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Hmu9zSG66sNGuxVRZURhnOO7QL4YlvC2qyZtMp1tjLQ/edit#gid=0

Keep in mind that the project is still new and statistics may be empty.

When you are working on an article, please post its tags and status at the “Candidates for Improvement” section next to the article’s title.  This makes it easier for me to get statistics.

Let’s keep working, everybody!

By the way, if you do not know what HARP is, feel free to read on the project here:

You can join if you want to!:smiley:

Wouldn’t it make more sense to put this on the page of the project rather than in the forums? That way, members of the project see it. Otherwise, this might end up calling to a crowd that has no idea what you’re talking about.

Hi Galactic Radiance! When I started H.A.R.P Statistics. I envisioned it as something for the general wikiHow community to view and discuss, not just something for project members only. Essentially, what we’re doing is monitoring the History category and our own contributions in the category for everyone, not just H.A.R.P members, to see and discuss about. As posts like this are mentioned in updates about the project, I don’t see much concern about it not reaching project members. If you have any further concerns about H.A.R.P Statistics, I’d be happy to hear them:slight_smile:

Also, if someone isn’t familiar with what H.A.R.P is, they can always take a look on our project page here:  https://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:History-Articles-Project

My question is, why? I know that personally, I don’t want to be getting monthly updates from projects that I’m not active in, because they’re just not relevant to me. I mean, it’s cool seeing projects get stuff done, but forum posts on updates like this generally aren’t made for projects and the only time I see people making update posts on certain tasks is when we had to crush a huge backlog of that task to begin with (like the Categorizer backlog).

If you’re not interested in looking at posts like these, then there’s no need for you to click on them. Do keep in mind that the post is a work in progress, and the main goal of this mini-project is to keep track of the history category, and our secondary goal is to monitor our own progress. If you don’t find that relevant to you or interesting, then don’t click on it. It’s fairly simple.

I kind of agree with Alex but I also agree with Andre. You’re not breaking any guidelines so you should have the right to post to let people know about your project; where they’re free to ignore or check it out. If I might suggest one thing, however, is to keep it all on one forum post and just comment or update the post with updates in the future if you intend to keep posting in the future. Instead of posting every month if that’s something you intend to do.

*Personal opinion only.

@InfernoTerra

Great idea!  Alright, we’ll simply post updates here instead of making multiple ones.  I’m actually considering no forum post at all right now.
