I want to be a NAB-er and Admin one day. I would love feedback on how to be a better editor so I could achive that goal someday!

To be a booster, you must be good at fixing up new articles, patrol recent changes, write good articles, and know when to promote or demote an article if you were actually a booster. Be sure you have also been here for at least a month. You must also know how to NFD an article. Ask admins for advice and ask them if you think an article should be demoted or promote, and make good edits to articles so they can be able to be promoted as much as possible. More information can be found on  http://www.wikihow.com/Become-a-New-Article-Booster-on-wikiHow .

To be an admin, you must have a large history of good edits and been on wikiHow for 4 months. Admins patrol recent changes a lot as well to see how the site’s going. Know when to report users or give warnings as if you were actually an admin. Think if this user should be blocked or not, and consider keeping an eye on that vandal to be sure he doesn’t or does need to be blocked like an admin. Put NFDs on articles when you look at them closely, and ask another Admin if you think another NFD should be removed. Be sure to also participate in the forums a lot as well. More informartion can be found at  http://www.wikihow.com/Become-a-wikiHow-Admin .

We’re all looking forward to you to complete your goal:slight_smile:Feel free to ask questions if you need help.

In terms of a goal to be an admin, get noticed. Admin candidates are nominated and then mentored by existing admins. If your name is familiar, the process can be easier and more successful. However, don’t get noticed by doing anything bad such as breaking a policy or acting like an admin when you aren’t. Get noticed by displaying an extraordinary knowledge of site policies; having a clear history of asking for help with a big decision or when you’re unsure about something; displaying exceptional kindness and patience when dealing with other users through all interactions including coaching; and so on. The longer you are on the site, and the more quality edits you make, the more we will know you. If you’d like to know more, feel free to hit me up on IRC, or my talk page.

Hailey, Yeah I knew that stuff.

But yes! I’m sure many would love me to complete these goals:slight_smile:
