Okay, Duolingo hasn’t been THAT harsh on me… I hope you didn’t accidentally click “Track Location” because then things would end pretty badly for you.

I was honestly pretty scared for you getting this notification (didn’t have the Duolingo image context).

I’m pretty sure Duolingo owl isn’t going to come, because I stopped learning their courses for over 2 years.
If it came, well, ig I’m gonna hide at a bunker or something lol.
So apparently I’m the only one being threatened with severe bodily harm. For anyone curious, here’s what it sent ~2 hrs before that one

I think duolingo has a banner popup with Duo in front of a burning house and a look on his face that says SPANISH OR VANISH. Pretty sure it’s time limited (only activates after 10PM) so I keep seeing it lol

I’m only doing German, so I wouldn’t see that one.

I have no idea when they added it but it’s pretty darkly funny to me especially since I’ve been genuinely caught off guard by the sudden ding

Mine’s long dead. Over a year now…
Lol I just skip every other day of Duolingo practice. I use so many streak freezes.
And I do 1 or 2 lessons since I’m busy with school. So I end up in the demotion zone all the time.
