Hi! I am just wondering how often the page views update on an article. I know it’s not automatic, but sometimes it doesn’t seem to refresh for days. For example this article: http://www.wikihow.com/Knit-a-Backwards-Loop-Cast-On Has been on the front page for the past few days and it still only has 117 views lol.:slight_smile:I was just wondering if anyone could answer my question. Thanks!

I know there is somewhat of a delay as the view count streams through all of the systems. The time it takes to update may take a long time, or not at all; it fluctuates. I haven’t looked into this very deeply - I hope someone can give a better answer.

In the past there has been a problem with the pageview counter, the pages actually update with each pageload, or continuously, if I am not mistaken, so the count is not showing up for some other reason… If there have already been 6 votes on the article stats page, the view count has to be much higher than the 117 showing now, you may want to post a bug report on this.

It seems to have 8000+ views now. There is a delay, but I’m not sure how long it is…
