The first time I highlight a word and weave a link, it works. However, the second time, when I try to click the link I want to surround the word, I click it several times and nothing happens.
Try previewing the page Hailey. I have had the same thing happen and I don’t know why it works but I seem to be ok if I preview the page. I can then weave as many links as I like.

Oh hmm, I wonder if this is related to some changes that engs had to make earlier this week - is it new? For a little while, weaving wasn’t working at all as a result, but then Reuben fixed it. Can you try a force refresh on the browser, to see if that makes a difference? What kind of browser are you using?
Hope HB’s workaround helps in the meantime! But that sounds funky - hopefully we can work out when it’s happening. It worked in a couple of different browsers for me, but there can be some bizarre browser differences sometimes!

No it’s happened for a few months now. I am using Chrome as my browser.

Weird- I’m using Chrome, too! Do you have any popup blockers or anti-virus software running? It might help to send over a screencast of what’s happening, as well as trying to disable any extensions or plug-ins you have running temporarily, to see if that has an effect.

Screencasts don’t work for me - only screenshots.

I saw this happen once and then the problem disappeared before I could track it. Trying to make it happen again.

@Hailey-Girges
If this happens again, can you please take a screenshot like this? Open the Google Chrome menu, click on More Tools, then Developer Tools.

I’ve had this happen on Safari for iOS; @Lojjik
, do you know of any way to open up the “Console” log in Safari for iOS?

Unfortunately this isn’t possible without hooking up your phone to your Mac (detailed here: http://appletoolbox.com/2014/05/use-web-inspector-debug-mobile-safari/
). But if you see this in desktop mode, please post here.
