I found out I am moving to the US. I do not know where in the US yet. Where do you guys recommend living?

Living in Hawaii, Virginia, or West Virginia are great places. I’ve visited before.

It isn’t the state that you must decide, it;s where exactly in that state that could be the correct choice, you and your family must choose a place that is right for all of you and that you all agree on.
I come from Texas, lots of guns but they have VERY strict laws concerning owning even one. You MUST go through 2-3 psych evaluations and several background checks! The major problem is that now, too many bad guys are getting their guns another way, either through the internet which doesn’t do checks, black market or from a lousy shop keeper who doesn’t bother doing checks and just wants the money! This is the MAIN problem everywhere… and people are complaining it’s Trump or the guns themselves… it’s neither.
So choose wisely… it’s not easy isn’t it? Well from I hear… Rhode Island, though pretty small is your best bet. I haven’t heard about a single mass shooting or any major crimes happening there in years… at least that i remember. So Rhode Island is your best option, however like I said earlier, it is your and your family’s choice and you must agree upon whatever is best for you personally. These are all just suggestions (except about the guns, that’s true, believe me)

You might like it there, Florida is nicknamed the Sunshine state… plenty of sunshine and watch out for flooding… it tends to happen a lot there. Oh and sinkholes,I don’t know much about the Tampa area but you might wanna still be careful
Hey, at least when you go to the shores, you can spot dolphins and whales swimming in the bay, they do occasionally visit there when the fish crop is good! :)
