Hi, I have a best friend, she doesn’t do wikihow btw, and she is 16. We have a YouTube channel together, that has about 100 subscribers. We just got an offer from a HUGE YouTuber that has 3 million subscribers to make a video with her for our channels over email. Its a big opportunity that only comes around once in a lifetime, we could get at least 1000 more subscribers.

Here is the problem. My best friend says she doesn’t want to do it because she says she doesn’t want to show her face, or hands even and she says she cant share her name. Before for videos I film the videos and she does the voice over. If we do the video with the big YouTuber she will have to say her name to the other person and to YouTube.

Is it just me or is she being unfair? Pls tell me your opinion!

No she doesn’t show her face in the videos, only her voice.

that’s how my drummer is!!! hes really nervous he pulls his drawstrings to his hoodie over his head and hids his face. so no maybe their just uncomfortable and are to sared to do that at this point in their life… have you talked to them about it?

I have talked to her. She said that she doesn’t want anyone to know its her. Its weird though cause she doesn’t go to school, has always been homeschooled, isn’t in any groups or clubs, she doesn’t know anyone besides me.

well I guess you just have to respect her  and not force this onto her she will tell u if she changes her mind.!

Is there a way to make the video without revealing her name or face? Always remember that if names are necessary, using an alias is an option; no one would ever know you’re lying as long as it’s a relatively normal name. Nothing like Hyperion or Terezi, but something common like Alaina or Jessy.

Maybe she could also use an eye mask and fake a name, adding onto Olivia’s point.

Ok Thanks guys, she said she is going to think up a fake name and we are going to put a lot of makeup on her so nobody recognizes her.
