It would be great to have a category just for Sign Language. Although there’s many kinds (ASL, BSL, Auslan, New Zealand Sign Language, etc.) they could have subcategories, or just be lumped together in a main category. People tend to place it in “Manual Communication” but I’m not even sure what articles even fit there! I’d move a few there myself. ^^

Here are 5 articles: (I didn’t provide links because I thought I could use the brackets to link them. Turns out you can’t, so you’ll have to look it up if you don’t believe me.)

Learn American Sign Language

Say Your Name in Sign Language

Sign Emotions in American Sign Language

Make “I Love You” in Sign Language

Do Vowels in Sign Language

YESSSSS!! Brilliant!! I am not fluent, but eh. ALL IN FAVOR SAY I!!! ____________________

Yes, I think many would benefit from this category.

Yes I totally agree! We should contact someone or something!

Cool, I’m really glad that people have commented. Someone from the cat team most likely will be looking at this soon. I volunteer to move some articles if a new category is made!

Awesome idea! I vote we have this category, we can have sub-categories for the different types:smiley:

I could see this going under the Disability Issues or Manual Communication subcategories. (Someday I hope we’ll have an AAC subcategory that could possibly house this…one can dream.)

@Harrypotterhead The admins keep an eye on the New Category Suggestions threads. Since the community is responding positively to the suggestion so far, it’ll probably be implemented within a few weeks.
