I tend to use the “Special:SpecialPages” page all too often. I love digging into some of the maintenance scripts (with my wikignome-like activities). However, one script makes me puzzled? Perhaps it’s a leftover from MediaWikis of the past? Is the Uncategorized Images
script still a working process? There seems to be no written process to follow to clean it up, and seeing that there are no official categories for the types of files, I highly doubt anyone can follow a cleanup process? Was this script ever used? What’s it’s standing now? Is anyone actually using it here? Leaves me wondering if - when the next MediaWiki version comes out - it shouldn’t be removed (from at least the list)?

, thanks for checking in about this. As I understand it, this is something that’s built into the mediawiki functionality that we don’t utilize here on wikiHow. There’s no action needed with these images.
I’ll note your suggestion to remove it from the list. Thanks!
